Self Reflection prompt:
The Self-Assessment Essay will serve as an introduction to your portfolio, like a cover letter for a resume. In a way, the Self-Assessment is a research paper. Your development as a writer is the subject, and the writing you have completed is your evidence. It is important that you refer to the works you have included in your portfolio as you write it. Don’t forget to discuss the rhetorical terms you learned this semester, rhetorical situation, purpose, audience, genre, stance, media, design, and, exigence.
