My name is Nathan Watanabe, a freshman at City College in the CUNY system. I was born in Minnesota but moved to NYC in 2013, and got accustomed to the big city. I’m Ecuadorian, Peruvian, and Japanese but I only know how to speak Spanish and English. I plan on pursuing a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and for one of my classes I had to create a portfolio using this site. In this class called Killer Stories, we analyzed different types of killings found in different stories such as “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge”, and “Until Gwen”, and wrote papers based on our findings. Our writing section focused more on exposing us to different forms of writing to better prepare for what’s expected in college, utilizing databases, and writing different types of essays.
